Tips, when you get to the top at the gate, take the single track trail to the top instead of going around the gate like I did.
Hello, where does this go?
Tarantula Hill is the next hill over
This was my comeback hike - a day prior to Tarantula Hill. From my job, I just walked the streets a bit and then climbed up the fire road. I've been up here many times before. Just a week earlier they were lighting off the fireworks up here...

I forgot about this trail...
The Bridge to Nowhere...
Tarantula Hill from the Middle School Track
I saw the track from the Hill the other day so I had to come back and run around the dirt. However, with my legs being so heavy and sore from the prior day work outs, I was barely able to job/walk/crawl on this course. It would probably take 20-25 go arounds this track to obtain a mile...
Final Resting Place - RIP Bunny :(
...Although I am not hiking Every Day - I will be hiking most days, especially on my work lunch break. Basically, I am packing my easy salad lunch, no dressing (salsa), each day. I will nibble on it every half-hour and then rather than eat a full lunch (fast food), I will get some exercise!
I'm trying to do two or three a days... When my wife wakes up early, I may go to the gym at 4:30 am, hit some weights, abs, sauna, elliptical, etc... After work, if I have energy or time, perhaps something else.
This is now my lifestyle:
Love it - Live it - Enjoy it- Staying Alive!!!
