Martha MacMorran Memorial Pathway - Ocean Shores, Washington
My Tripometer: 45 Minutes * 1 Mile * +0 Feet

This is based on the last census, so the population may have changed?

I am looking on the map now and discovered the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area at the southern most part of this peninsula past Duck Lake.  Darn, I should have followed the road a bit further but instead we went to Ocean Shores...

 Souvenirs?

Not a great day to fly a kite

 look out for the shark!

 Welcome to Ocean Shores
Directions:
About 30 minutes west of Aberdeen.  From the 101, yeah, same 101 in Cali, but not really, follow the two lane road out of town on the north side of Grays Harbor.  You will continue to travel north around North Bay until you reach Ocean Shores.  On a clear day, you can easily see Westport from the south end of the peninsula.  However, today was hardly clear and the rain was constant; but that didn't stop us...

The Martha MacMorran Memorial Pathway through the wetland

Horses on the beach; only $20 an hour!
(we didn't ride, but what a deal compared to Cali!)

Cars driving on the beach - I haven't seen this since I went to Daytona!
The sand was hard, despite the rain, it was still very manageable

 Cross the flowing water

Broken arm and all, Alyssa wanted to ride - ah, no...
