From Sassafras Mountain we drove down to route 11 and headed east on the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. It was still early morning and I was awe inspired by the misty lake. I swept the frost off the ground to form a small snowball but it melted before I could toss it at my kids.
I spent about 20 minutes here wandering around but barely touched the possibilities of this park. I imagine that this might be a popular place in the hot and humid summer months.

Really?! So, not only did I climb to the highest peaks in two different states in two days, I stepped foot in two different Cleveland's as well. This was completely random and astonishing because I am from Cleveland - Ohio. Hmm, a new mission for this trip? Wait and see...
