Trailhead

Directions:
From the 101 Freeway in Newbury Park, exit on Wendy and then turn down Old Conejo Road. Follow this for about a mile. You will pass Reino and the road will turn to the right. The trailhead is on the right, before the mobile park entrance.

Only about a half mile to the top; at times a little steep

There's a T-junction up here - I chose left...

Hoping for a loop back down, the trail ends at the weigh station

(only about a quarter mile walk; 1/2 mile return to T-Junction)

The end of the trail...

There is no reasonable way down from here - no trail. This route was maybe another quarter mile from the junction (1/2 mile return). It was a very easy and meaningless hike. I suppose if I was a boy in the neighborhood this spot could be cool. King of the Hill or something. Actually, it's kind of neat that there is no other way in or out. I crossed by this trailhead several months ago when the grade was on fire. I took some hikes by the mobile park and noticed this unnamed trail. As promised, I returned and here it is...
