Directions:
From the 101 Freeway about just south of San Luis Obispo, take the Avila Beach Drive exit and head towards the ocean.  About two miles up, turn left on Cave Landing Road (across from the golf course).  The road takes you up a hill and all the way back to a dirt parking lot.  Park your car and begin the short trek to the cave...

 Stay on main trail - right path leads to overhang...

 Turn right to reach the sea cave

 and there she is...

 

Hey, don't run through the cave.  On the other side is a straight drop down into the ocean, yikes!

 Heading back the other way, to the beach...

 Use the rope to get down...

I saw this from the distance so we turned back.  Other than the old biddies, this was a pretty cool spot...
