DAY 85: THE VICTORIA TUNNEL AT NIGHT

Elevation Gain: 25 Feet
Time: 1.25 Hours
Difficulty: Very Easy, bring your kids and dogs.
Reward: Not too exciting, but it made the kids smile
Description: Go under the Victoria Tunnel at night and cross the people bridge over the 126 to urge the trucks to honk their horns
Where: Ventura, CA
Directions: From the 101 Freeway in Ventura, exit on Victoria and drive north. Pass telephone and turn left on Thille (across from the government center). Pass two stop signs and turn right on Bennet (across from Thille Park). Park at the end of the street.

The people walk over the 126
The kids will have a great time making the trucks honk at them. If there was still daylight, we would have gone down the other side. It leads to the playground at Mound Elementary School. But it was dark and a school night; so goodnight!
