Venice Fishing Pier - Uh, something is wrong with that boy!
He was like, really, gonna make me walk all the way down there! Yeah, you bet. We were on our third hike of the day and I promised him ice cream if he cooperated. We looked out over the ocean and then trekked back to the mainland. On Washington Blvd there are many unique places to eat. For Ayden, we chose Coldstone Ice Cream. For me - Starbucks!
We then took our treats to go and strolled away from the ocean along the tsunami evacuation route. A block up the road, we encountered:

We of course just hiked the lagoon a few hours prior, but not this end. Across Washington Street we noticed the Venice Canal sign, which of course we hiked on Day 544: Venice Canals. We are really starting to connect all the dots in Southern California, huh!
We turned right and hiked the lagoon route
veered left through the condos
From here, we circled around back and raced to our car before the meter money went null. This was a nice little walk through paradise - nah, I do prefer Ventura County!!!
