Directions:
I believe the way to find this park is to exit the I-5 at Via De LA Valle.  Head east about a mile and then turn right on El Camino Real.  The park will be on your right.  We bypassed this park after the first soccer game but decided to stop for a peek after the 2nd...

Dust and Devil pretty much sums up the open space

Several short loop trails.  I hit up the North and the East Loops

The sun was closing in on the horizon
 I ran around this trail while Alyssa and Jess remained in the van.  Ayden stayed home with grandpa for this trip...

The picture of the pool was taken by the pool earlier in the afternoon.  It was a good 20+ minute drive to reach the hotel from the soccer fields.  We stopped for dinner and by the time we got back, it was dark.  Fortunately Alyssa's game tomorrow was not until 12:40 so we had no curfew.  Jess and I, mostly I, split a six pack of Shock Top and we toured the golf course.  Hey, it's a hike...  Afterword we switched off playing Alyssa in Honkey Ball, that's ping pong or table tennis for all of you who didn't watch that movie back in the day.  Honkey Ball, what movie was that from???

***Day 991 was a wrap.  It was a long day!  With the Eagles up 2-0 in their preliminary games, tomorrow was much anticipated to bring similar results.  But first, hey, with a late first game, maybe I can get in some real hike(s).  Stay tuned for the adventure... ‎
