We took a chance by turning off the main highway in our RV. It barely seemed like this short road to the Gunnison River was going to be safe for us, but then saw a bigger than me dump truck to set aside my angst.
Just a couple hundred feet of elevation and a little over a mile for this round-tripper. We could have easily expended this longer, if not by trail, by wading in the water, although I think I did notice a warning sign that this area could fill up with water?
Enjoy the pictures of this specific hike. Hopefully the HikeStalker is summoned for future adventures in this area, and all of Colorado for that matter. These footsteps will be my last in the state. Heading home from here we did...
