I began down the Willow Trail...

Stay straight on the mail trail and pass the Laguna Trail.  The Willow Trail will turn right and then eventually head up a steep hill.  I was running this because Jess and Ayden elected to stay in the car.  I was hoping to get high enough to see out over the ocean but with the sun beating down on me, ah, no...  I turned back and...

 Turning down the Laguna Trail

 Awesome Geology!

 Pleasant, easy trail...

The Trail continues, but I stopped here

The Laguna Wilderness Park is similar to the Santa Monica Mountains.  Laguna is to Malibu as Mission Viejo is to Thousand Oaks.  I've enjoyed my experience in the O.C. but for now, time to cool off at the beach...

  1. I really like looking at this place. How can such a beautiful place exist? I hope it stays the same for years to come for those who are yet to see that trail in person. Safekeeping for future generations. We owe it to them.
