The dirt road beyond the soccer fields

**Yes, rattlers in the area!  I hiked back on the road with Kaitlyn, my niece.  Meanwhile, Ayden remained back at the soccer fields with Jess while Alyssa was warming up.  Ayden was crawling through a sign, like a tunnel and come to find out there was a baby rattler in there!  One of the parents, a cop, took a fence stake and severed the snakes head!  Even after the head was off, the snake was hissing and the rattler was jingling.  Crazy!!!

An abandoned house in the fields

 Following the long dirt road...

Looking back at where we came from...

About a mile in, Kaitlyn became very tired I sent her back and told her I'd catch up...

 Interesting formation

And the road keeps going, but I better turn back

Along the way, there is a fork in the road.  We took the left fork to follow the creek.  The right fork would have climbed up.  I nearly forgot about this so I ran back to catch up to Kaitlyn who had already reached the fork and was confused.  We continued to jog all the way back to the soccer field to witness Alyssa and the Eagles win their first tournament game by a score of 1 - 0...
