Vail - Colorado

The Ski Trooper

Vail is a Swiss themed town in Colorado, which makes it quite unique.  It's a clean, fine, safe and neat community that is definitely worth visiting.  For the Malibu rich in you, Vail you are.  Parking is free, in the summer months, but I'm certain this winter haven for skiers becomes jammed pack in the winter.  Especially because it is just off I-70, not too far out of Denver.

We only stopped here because Ayden wanted popcorn, which means we needed a place to see a movie.  Vail was not far off course from our Denver destination, so we diverted from our natural course to become witness of Vail Majesty.

The streets were open to walkers and bikes, closed to cars and traffic.  Although, it took some time to find a place to hide my RV, we ended up locating a free parking lot that allowed us to camp overnight with their acknowledgement.  Perfect!

Gondola Anyone?

Here are some random shots after leaving town, from Vail to Denver...
