Day 508: Jefferson Park - Beacon Hill

A Hike around Jefferson Park

Day #508 * Hike #583 * New Track #517
Friday April 6, 2012
Jefferson Park - Beacon Hill - Seattle
My Tripometer: 1 Hours * 1 Mile * +25 Feet

Directions:
Well, not sure exactly.  From downtown Seattle my kids were calling the shots.  Turn right here and turn left there.  Eventually, we ended up in Beacon Hill at Jefferson Park.  Pretty cool and completely random.

Water Source, not sure what these kids found in there?

Sidewalk trails lead you back here - way cool view

I ventured around and out of the park.  You can cross the Jefferson Sports Meadow but no dogs allowed.  On the other side is a golf course.  On the way back you pass a skating park.  This place must be a real cool escape for the locals.  There were tennis courts and about 50 Asian students were in the middle of a tournament.

Mountain Views from down the street

Airplanes fly right over the park

This was a cool 1 hour pit stop.  The kids found a jump rope and we brought it back to Ventura.  Okay, where to next...
